Z's Antique Tractors and Stuff
Middle age often brings changes in one's life.  My middle age circled back somewhat when the purchase of a 10-acre farm led me to acquire a 1941 John Deere, Model A tractor.

When I was in high school, my folks had a small resort on Lake of the Ozarks and we bought a 1936 John Deere, Model B tractor with a blade to keep our very steep road graded.  I spent a lot of good times on that tractor.  So, it only made sense to go with John Deere when my family and I moved to our dream farm.  Rather than just grading, my '41 A is a working tractor, which keeps our acreage in shape.

In addition, I have just purchased a 1947 Minneapolis-Moline UTI.  I have a lot of work to do on it so come back from time to time and see if I have been busy.

We live right on the Smoky Hill River in central Kansas.  We have about seven acres of tillable ground and most if it is planted in six varieties of native prairie grass.  We're thinking of planting walnut and pecan trees in the two acres next to the river.

My other interests include go-carts, of which we have two.  And, an old 1981 Yamaha Virago 750 V-Twin.

Check out the additional pages and I hope you enjoy yourself.
I'm doing some dirt work right after I bought her.  It doesn't get anymore fun than this.
