Paradise Regained?

It took a few more trips to find another property and we may be close to finally getting it done! This one is in Masonville, New York and we are trying for an October 8 closing. All depends on the VA appraisal. If they say that the property is worth the amount of the loan, then we'll be ready to roll. Willy and I can't wait!!

It's set back far enough from the road to suit us.

There are even some usable barns on a couple of acres.

The barns are suitable for storage and/or livestock.

The back pasture is completely fenced in! Who knows? This place could even motivate me to start keeping goats, or perhaps rheas and emus like cousin Tommy!

One of the barns certainly seems quite suitable for goats, although I

mostly considered my darling little wife's comfort in the kitchen.
While on one of those trips, I took daughter Heidi and grandkids
to the local toy store for some kid delight!
To avoid more hotel/motel hassles, I stayed here:

Comfortable and quite reasonable, but no remote controlled TV!

A thought goes out to my sister Marianne, killed in a bombing raid on Hamburg in 1945. She would have become 57 this month!

See the resemblance? This is Ernst Keidel A1112-3, my grandfather!
