Welcome to our February edition! We'll use it to wrap up 1998; that roll in the camera was finally finished! First came Thanksgiving.
Ha-Yo went shopping with me to prepare.

She then set about cooking up a turkey to perfection. It was the best Thanksgiving meal I had had in years. Ha-Yo really outdid herself with this uniquely American dish.

Then, on the home front, our apartment complex lodge got into the Christmas spirit.

We then got an invitation to spend Christmas Day with the young ladies who used to babysit Armin when he was one year old and they were eleven and twelve.

Of course, since Armin is now 15,
the Bonavita sisters are correspondingly older!

Our latest family portrait! Armin himself renewed a friendship with a young lady he hadn't seen in many years!

..

Armin and Gina in 1985 and 1998!

We had great Christmas Day in Boston with the Bonavitas and thank them for their enduring friendship!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

to my special friends who were born in this month! George Lewis Keidel, Jr. in Maryland, Eudene Keidel in Indiana and Laura Reed in Michigan.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY greetings go to the lovely Barbie Reittenbach and her husband Patrick, also in Michigan!

On a somber note, let me speak to a very good cyber friend from Prodigy's German Bulletin Board, of which I am the Special Contributor.
Carla von Keltner, a very dear and regal lady, lies gravely ill.
I salute you! ---mdG, Ernst
