Edmond Keidel has a birthday this month and he and his wife Virginia are known as the "Free Spirit Keidels." They are busy dashing about the world, making sure to send me a postcard from every stop they make. I have many in my collection from them, from Europe, South America, Asia, etc. Currently they are in Germany, where I was last year. They will be enjoying Oktoberfest at its source: Bavaria! These are the cards I just got from them:This first one came from Heidelberg and this second one they sent from Munich, or München as it's properly called.:To be sure, we are just a little envious of their antics! The boys and I had a fantastic six weeks in Germany, last year. Of course we were also in the Hofbräuhaus in München. Yes, it absolutely legal for the kids to sit and drink beer with Daddy!This year we had to constrain our travels to the U.S. Still, we had a good time. Good friends took us out to dinner in Fayetteville, NC and the boys went to a pistol range to fine-tune their marksmanship.The reason this lady looks so much like Armin's mother is because she is my wife's cousin, Bopie!Willy takes aim!
