you can see, the "Freespirited Keidels" Edmond and Virginia (K-branch) are on the road (?) again.
It seems that the Gande river overflowed its banks and a good part of Bad Gandersheim! The picture on the left shows the market area in Bad Gandersheim. Christa's
house is the one with the awning. Armin and Willy look out of the top floor window, last

FLOODING IN BAD GANDERSHEIM
I had just called cousin Uwe Schriever A1111-531 to wish his daughter Wiebke a Happy Birthday, when his wife told me that the streets were flooded. I called cousin Christa, who
lives next door, and she had to get off the phone in order to let in the Fire Department to place sand bags. Her cellars were flooded almost half a meter, but the sand bags kept most
water out of the shops and domiciles. Only about a block down the street, where it drops off, shops and domiciles were flooded to well over one meter above street
level!
Again, last year, it is I standing with Christa in her street level dining area.
This, along with her kitchen and the rented out store was spared flooding.Uncle Wastl

my Onkel Wastl, will become 95 on the last day of this year! Unfortunately, he had a fall
and broke his thigh sometime this past August. A prolonged hospital stay very much
agitated the mental state of this normally robust gentleman, who is NOT used to being
restrained and restricted. Recuperating at home, finally, he still requires a lot of care and
supervision.N-Branch expansion
Mark T. Keidel N137 sent me his database, which gave names to one more generation and gave me a lot more N-branch names and changed many of the K-numbers. For instance, my friend Daniel George Keidel in Boise is now N121.
