Wind in my Hair again!

Last month, I took a drive up to Manchester, NH, to visit with Lizzard and Meg and hammer out details of our upcoming "meeting of the minds" in January. While there, I talked Lizzard into letting me take his bike for a spin. Consider the facts that I haven't done any serious riding in well over year and I harbor well-grounded fears of losing control because I have no strength in my right arm, as well as having ankles and lower extremeties which give out at inopportune times. Of course, that is why I hobble around with a cane and am looking for a trike or a side hack - something which won't require me to apply non-existent strength, should it tip to the right. Though it was great to get the wind in my hair again (possible in New Hampshire) it was nonetheless a teeth-gritting adventure! You see, Lizzard's 750 Triumph sits a lot higher than what I am used to with my Harley. And to add injury to insult, THE FOOT BRAKE AND GEAR SHIFT LEVER ARE REVERSED! Damned Limeys. Still, I can't wait to hit the road again! We've been pretty lucky. Although my son Armin prays for snow (he's a snow boarder) we've had sunny, good riding days even past Christmas.

Lizzard and I decided on January 15 for our meeting. It will be held at the Lizzard lair in Manchester. The address has been mailed or e-mailed to all Poets within traveling distance. Odin had said that he would be done with his Holiday travels by then and we look forward to hearing from him at this meeting. His advice and guidance is needed and longed for.

Bro Splitfoot is still holding down our West coast outpost. He's been sending me lots of Poet memorabilia, such as the Ogar drawing above, and photographs. We remain in daily e-mail contact.

I am extending my boundaries as I am learning more about HTML and website design. You can see that I am exploring with different effects, back grounds, fonts, and more. The more I learn, the more I realize how much I still don't know! Don't forget to stop by my "store" via the link on the home page. In order to perhaps generate a sorely needed second income, I have "rented" a Future-World virtual store. My rent is deducted from commissions made from sales. It is too early to give you a report on my success. I will keep you posted.

I am looking forward to seeing most of you Poets on the 15th!
