Jacob Miller Jr. & Philip Miller (Lincoln Co); for 150.00  NC money sold 300 ac on 
both sides of Camp Cr below Nicholas Welch's land "formerly" waters of S. fork of 
Cataba R; being formerly James Foster's land and sold Jul 9, 1784 by Joseph Henry, 
sheriff, to Thos Polk esq, due to suit of Thos Polk, who sold Apr 8, 1789 to 
Tetrick Kootch; following "exception" made: concerning the mortgage on this 300 ac 
that Henry Gross has 
from Tetrick Kootch prior to his deed, Henry, Jacob, & Philip Miller have to redeem the 
mortgage, otherwise Tetrick Kootch won't be accountable to them for the land.
