This page has been set up to show the arts and crafts made by my family. There is even a carving from my grandfather here. I have paintings and sketches in different mediums, woodworking, ceramics, crochet, kniting, quilting, photographs, etc. Hope you like it!
Sewing is just a matter of maybe yes, maybe no, with my family at least. My sister, Pat, made really great clothes for her kids when they were young; she also made the wedding outfits that she and Dan wore for their marriage. Very talented lady. My brother wife got the old sewing machine humming when we were raising our children, and her daughter, Debbie, is an excellent seamstress. I got a new sewing machine when I was hot into guilting. That has sort of gone by the wayside while I am writing this...too much to do, I guess. You can see the quilts a little further down...the two best ones are yet to be put into film and scanned for the web....soon.
This sectin will be devoted to the ceramic portion of our talent. The first one is a complete nativity set done by Dawn and there are more, but they need pix made or scanning done on them. Wait awhile, they will be here.
This section will be for the pictures we have drawn or painted. My mother is a very good painter and has be written up in the (u)Washington Post for her charitable artwork given to Church.
This section is for my quilts and here they are! Some still have to be uploaded to the net, but I am going as fast as I can.
