My oldest daughter, Susan Anna Willard, was born on January 7, 1959. Sue was killed in an automobile accident in her senior year in high school. I have made a special memorial for her, and you can view it by using the drop down menu (Sue) at the bottom of this page.
Judy was born next. My "Mom" came to College Park to help me out with the baby when she was born on January 20,1960. When we took Aunt Ellen back home, a blizzard hit unannounced in PA. Skip had to work and would not leave without me for some reason, so I left my girls in the warmth and love in PA -- Sue with Aunt Bell, and Judy with the Wints. Ellen got so used to having her around, that she and Pop didn't want to let her return with me. There were always 'good' reasons for them to keep her in Pa. So, Mom Wint raised my 2nd daughter and you can see her pictures using the drop down menu (Judy) at the bottom of this page.

Another child was born on September 17. 1966. I only saw him at the hospital where he was born. He was adopted out. It was a great disgrace to the family that I have a child out of wedlock. During gestation, my Aunt Bell kept Mike and Dawn with her, and Judy was already living at the Wint's house. I went to stay with my brother, Jim, at his apartment. He was so sweet to me, and most helpful. The child was a boy and the adoptive parents wanted to name him, so the only thing I ever knew of him was a hospital bracelet with the inscription, Hamill Boy on it. There are no pictures of this child; I have never seen him.
My last child was born on October 19, 1967, and her father, Robert Bush Wolfe, wanted her named Dawn after some song he knew when he was a young man. I named her Isabella after my Aunt Bell, and she was very pleased that someone did this for her after all those years. To see pictures of Dawn, use the drop down menu (Dawn) at the bottom of this page.
