A Churn Dash Quilt for My Husband

This is my first patchwork quilt, and I made it in 1995-1996 for my husband while we were living in separate locations for 9 months. The block is a churn dash, a very simple pattern. Although it is hard to tell, the lightest fabric is a white-on white print, the dark is dark blue with tiny flowers (used for the backing as well), and the sashing is white with a dark blue flower print. The quilt is machine pieced and hand quilted.
Of course, it didn't get finished until just before he was able to join us in southern California, but it did get done in less than 17 years!!
