Warriors rebound to swat the Wolves

Region 12 South Summit-St. Joseph

At St. Joseph High, the Wildcats swatted the Jayhawks, 16-14, 15-4.

"We led 11-4 and 13-7 in Game 1 and the bottom fell out," St. Joseph coach Ray Franklin said. "We had trouble with serve-receive in Game 2, and unforced errors killed us. The momentum shifted and they ran away from us."

The Jayhawks' Shanna Scherbinske had four kills, seven digs and a solo block, and setter Sami Evans had four assists for St. Joseph (0-3 in league play, 3-13 overall).
