40,000 babies a year are born with some type of congenital heart defect. For may parents it can seem as if there is no one to turn to, since there is little information and few support groups available. We created Our Hearts for exactly that reason.

Susie DeLoach and Amy Dini are the founders of Our Hearts. We both have children that were born with CHD. At that time there were no support resources available, so we combined efforts to create Our Hearts in 1998.

Goals for Our Hearts:

• Data base to connect families dealing with like defects
• Regional meetings and fund raising activities
• Quarterly newsletters and welcome packets
• One on one parent support
• Social gatherings
