John Mackey, a patriot, furnished supplies for the army in South Carolina. He was born in Ireland; died, 1787, in Charleston, S. C.
Anthony Alexander (1715-84) served as private in Captain Bailey's company, Col. Abraham Shepherd's 10th regiment, North Carolina Line. He was born and died in Tyrrell County, N. C.
