LIBBY'S PAGE

Hi! My name is Libby. Well, actually my big name is Jinbirlee's Vanity's Fair Elizabeth, but that's a lot for me to say! Here's what I looked like at three months old. The camera makes my eyes look funny but really they are very blue. I'm a chocolate point Birman.

In June ('98) I said 'see ya later' to my birth mommy, Sage, and came to my new home. It's pretty nice here and I have lots of toys. My favorite one came with me - it's a furry little critter I chew on and toss up in the air. But I ate it, so I got another one (thanks Inslee and Mary), and it's almost gone, too. (editor's note -- she ate that one, too) But now I think lots of things are fun, so almost everything is a toy.

I'm curious, and was shy at first, but not very much any more. My new mom human slept with me the first night, so I wouldn't be lonely. I like to cuddle with her and sleep with her every night. She says I'm very adventurous, but that's a big word I don't know, so I just keep runnin' and playin' all over the house. Course then I have to recharge my batteries.

I was born on March 3, 1998, so I just had my first birthday party! There's another kitty in this house, named Jasmine, and she kind of ignored me at first, but now she wants to play sometimes. We are getting to be pretty good friends and my human seems to be very relieved.

My human took me to a place where they put me up on this high thing and took lots of pictures of me. Since I was a little shy about things, I didn't try to jump off or anything. Mom said I was a good little model and she can't wait to see the pictures, so I guess you should watch for them. OH, there they are! PHOTOS

Here is a link about Birman cats if you want to read more about us. We are sacred cats, and very loving and sweet. The first picture looks alot like me, except I have tiny tufts of longer hair behind each ear, and my dark parts are the color or yummy milk chocolate. Birman Cats

Do I ever get in trouble? Um, well, yes, sometimes. But I'm just a little kit, so that's ok. Here's a picture of what I'll look like when I grow up! Chocolate Birman

Please come back often and play with me, and see how I grow up!

Here's a really cool link to a Birman cattery! Check it out. Katascali Cattery
