First go to "How to Hold your Bunny" and try to do the
scissor hold. If your bunny will not cooperate than get some one to hold her while
you clip her nails. If she really gets weird than wrap her gently in a towel
just to calm her down. Make sure her eyes are covered and that she can breath.
Than get a nail clipper such as the one I am holding in the picture and clip the
nails. Be careful. You should not clip where you see the quick, (just a term
for blood vein). If you do cut the quick and it starts bleeding, you can dip it in
some "Sweet and Low", the diet sweetener. It will clot the blood and keep
it from bleeding. It really works! Check bunny's nails regularly. She
could get sore hocks if they get too long.
