Conscience

I cannot be your conscience,
But I'll try to be your guide.
If you will only let Me,
Be the closest to your side.



I'll not look upon your sins,
If you turn yourself about,
And look to Me your Saviour,
Fear not, never have a doubt.



I promised you in scripture,
That death would never be your plight.
I'll be with you forever,
If you'll keep Me in your sight.



I can see your every movement,
And hear everything you say,
That's why every prayer you utter,
Is answered but sometimes not your way.



I know the things you ask for,
Are not always what you get,
But I know always what is best for you,
So don't be so upset.



Now let your conscience be your guide,
And let Me be your closest friend.
You have no secrets you can hide,
And on Me you always can depend.



You are a child of God's,
Just as I am His Son,
So brother and sister we are but one.
We'll be with Gods Family in Heaven,
So let HIS Will be done.
