WELCOME
My name is Lisa and I have created this website for my basenjis, Nicky and Rally who would also like to share a bit of space with the three cats that are their partners in crime.
For those who have taken the time to read past the links to everyone's individual pages, I suppose I should say a little something. I first saw a photo of this wonderful breed about 5 or so years ago while flipping through an AKC book in a used bookstore. That photo led me to research the breed and the more I learned the more I wanted to know about them. This is a challenging breed who keeps you on your toes and all your Kleenex® tucked away in high, hard to get to places :) There are several people who have written some good information about what having a basenji is really like and rather then trying to write up something myself I will just refer those looking for more information on basenjis to these sites:
