Free, Ad Supported Christian Children's Video on the Web |
Children's MoviesYou can find these two top quality movies at Sling, Hulu, and perhaps other major video web sites. These are the links to Sling, they will begin playing the ad that proceeds the movie as soon as you click. I figure about a minute or two of ads per hour watched, far better than commercial TV. These will burn a fair amount of bandwidth if you have a monthly limit. But they are great movies for free. You can find Jonah A Veggie Tales Movie here. You can find The Miracle Maker here. Christian Children's TelevisionGumby is an old television show that teaches values. It has several Christian associations. The creater was a preacher's son. I think the Lutherns were involved in it in some way. It may not thrill modern kids. Note that there are many shows on AOL and they charge for some. When I set up this link the page offered 10 free shows, plus the opportunity to click on page 2, with another 10 free shows, and page three with seven free shows followed by some they want to charge a $1.99 for. Pages 4 and so on had shows you pay for. So there are 27 free shows. There are ads, once again expect a minute or two per hour. The other links are for free, advertizing supported programs. This link is free for the first month, but charges after that. I have no information on how easy it is to get out of the program once you have signed up, or even what they ask you when you sign up. But the programs are produced by Phil Vischer, the man who started Veggie Tales. The system is called Jellytelly. I have just begun to collect web sites, perhaps I will find more. You might want to suggest some in my guest book. If you find the link useful and you have a web site perhaps you can provide a link and lead more people here. Page last updated December 20, 2008 |
