I just scanned about 12 sets of paperwork. That is over 2 weeks of driving. I got behind, because I kept ending up at truck stops that didn't have scanners set up. This is a way for me to send my paperwork in - kind of like a fax. Also the last 2 terminals that I have stopped at, the scanners had been vandalized. So I could not use them. That bothers me that people driving for the company I work for can be so selfish and do such.
This morning I picked up a load of pallets in Plainfield, IN and brought it down to Bowling Green, KY. There I got to do a drop and hook. Meaning I dropped the loaded trailer and picked up an empty one. My next load was litterally around the corner. Didn't even go a quarter of a mile. My appointment was not for 4 more hours, but I went in anyway and luckily the load was ready and I got loaded with drums of white paint. I was tempted just to drive across town and stop at the Corvette Museum. Bowling Green is where they build Corvettes. But I didn't want to drive late. So I came on up here to Sonorra, KY and parked.
For Supper I had the Cheese Steak on foot long sub from Subway. I'm stuffed.
