STEVE FULLER & SIMONE SIEGAN We work in willow and make and sell a wide variety of craft items made from living and dried willow rods. We work with museums, art galleries and country parks in a wide variety of ways building installations and living willow features. We teach willow craft workshops to adults and children in both indoor and outdoor settings. Steve Fuller lives and works in Cumbria and has been making traditional baskets for over twenty years. Steve was taught many of his skills by older rural craftsmen. Steve has taught many other people the basic techniques of basketry using locally cut willows. Steve has helped many community groups, schools and environmental organisations to design and build their own living willow structures. Simone Siegan is an American jewellery designer who began working in willow several years ago. Simone specialises in creating willow sculptures for indoor and garden decoration. |
