THE SOUTH CAROLINA GENEALOGY SOCIETY, INC. 1999 ANNUAL MEETING
will be held October 13 -16, 1999 hosted by Hilton Head Island Genealogical Society and The Heritage Library, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
To register in advance, send your name and address and if you are a member of the Society, your SCGS Membership number and Chapter name with $25.00 for the meeting. Several workshops will be avaliable at an additional $10.00 each. Non-members are also invited at the cost of $35.00 for the meeting and $10.00 for each workshop. Please indicate if you will attend the Friday evening reception. Pre-registration will end October 1, 1999.
You may register on site, but the cost is slightly higher, $35.00 for members and $45.00 for non-members for the meeting, the cost of the workshops are the same.
Mail your check to The Heritage Library, Suite 300 The Courtyard Building, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928.

SCGS does not have a staff to do research. A list of professional researchers (paid research) may be obtained from the South Carolina Department of Archives and History, 8301 Parklane Road, Columbia, South Carolina 29223 (803-896-6100), or the South Caroliniana Library, University of South Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina 29208. Most county libraries also maintain similar lists.
