Barbara grew up in Pearisburg, VA., the daughter of Fred and Jackie Rushbrooke. She graduated from Pearisburg High School where she was a member of the Band, a Majorete, and the SIX TEENS singing group. She attended Radford College, one year, and graduated from National Business College in Roanoke, VA.
In addition to being a great wife, mother, and grandmother,she works as an Administrator in the Order Entry Dept. of Volvo North America in Dublin, VA.
Although family is her main interest, she enjoys singing with the Wilderness Road Chorus of the Sweet Adelines International. She also enjoys Cooking, Gardening, and many Crafts.
