PATMOS

PATMOS

(Contemporary Christian/Gospel)
(Bible reference: Revelation 1:9-18)

I John, who am your brother and companion in tribulation,
In the kingdom and the patience of the Lord.
I was on the isle of Patmos, for the witness of the Father,
Which He made in me so bold.

When I heard a voice behind me, as though it were a trumpet
And it struck fear to the center of my soul.
And I fell down before Him, his majesty from heaven,
Like the very sun he shone.

But he reached out and touched me,
His command removed the fear I had before.
And I gloried in the presence of the great desire of nations,
The holy one of Israel, the Lord.

And he said, I was dead, but behold, I am alive.
And I am alive forevermore.
I'm the friend of all my people, no one will I turn away,
If they believe in their hearts that I'm the Lord.

I John, who am your brother and companion in tribulation,
In the kingdom and the patience of the Lord.
I was on the isle of Patmos
and I stood upon the isle with the Lord.

And he said, I was dead, but behold, I am alive.
And I am alive forevermore.
I'm the friend of all my people, no one will I turn away,
If they believe in their hearts that I'm the Lord.

He said, I was dead, but behold, I am alive.
And I am alive forevermore.
I'm the friend of all my people, no one will I turn away,
If they believe in their hearts that I'm the Lord.
If they believe in their hearts that I'm the Lord.
If they believe in their hearts that I'm the Lord.
