I have two of the Ashley 18" dolls by the Syndee Corporation. I love them. I only had two dolls growing up and they were lost in moving. I never thought that I would want more but I fell in love with making children's clothing. I did not like sewing oll clothing as much so I decided to crochet and knit them. I am trying to design a shawl for my babies now.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only grown up who "plays" dolls. I'm 29 and have always loved dolls. I'm not a collector, but when I was first introduced to the American Girls by one of my nieces, I knew I was hooked. I've read all their books, and someda I'm going to save up enough to get Felicity's complete collection. For now I enjoy sewing for Sarah. I don't have any real children, but she is like having my own little girl. I always wanted one with dark brown hair and blue eyes, and now I have her. Someday I would like to buy each one of the American Girls. I have visited their headquarters in Middleton, Wisconsin. All their accessories are on display there. I, like you, enjoy sewing for someone small. I think it's because I can finish a projec fairly quickly. Thanks for sharing your interest.
