Greetings from Cow Town, USA, where all the little cows here are pretty excited that yours truly, Cowboy Johnny, has a home page on the WWW. I'm glad y'all stopped by for a visit. Feel free to mosey around the place and have a look-see.This site is dedicated to showcasing the descendants of some of my ancestors - primarily Dutch and French families of New York and New Jersey. I hope that my information helps someone push back the frontiers of their research. If so, then these pages have not been in vain. <---An unreasonable likeness of me

This site is in its infancy. For the moment I have uploaded files for my own personal use. You're welcome to nose around and see what's here, but please be advised that most of the files here have not been verified. The only files that are in reasonable, ready-to-read shape are the ones dealing with the Witbeck family. Also, there is a glitch in the coding of these pages that causes them to simply not look right on the Internet Explorer Browser. This problem will be rectified early in 1999. |

Please be advised that this is a work-in-progress. All information contained herein is continuously being being verifed, corrected, and updated. I have been doing family history research since 1987, and this site represents only a part of what I have accomplished over the years. I hope that you enjoy the information and find it useful. |
And if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to
give me a howl
A tip of the ten gallon hat goes to Rich Rabbett (Bunny Boy extraordinaire) for his great help in getting me well underway on this endeavour. His knowledge is truly appreciated and I'm especially thankful for his patience with me as I am woefully (some might say tragically) computer illiterate. Thanks also go to Geocities for kindly hosting this website. Finally, a word of thanks to William H. Anderson and his Shareware and Freeware Collection
