Who We Are

Curriculum K4-12:  In pursuit of academic excellence, several different types of curriculum are utilized at Eagle Ridge.  Saxon Math Curriculum is utilized for all math classes.  Saxon Math Curriculum provides hands on manipulative activities for lower elementary.  Saxon also offers constant review and repetition for higher level math

through calculus.  For history, schience, language and reading, A Beka Christian Curriculum and curriculum printed by Bob Jones University are utilized.  Both are very academically sound and retain a Godly approach to all areas of learning.

Testing:  Eagle Ridge utilizes the Stanford Achievement Test and the Otis Lenon Abilities Test to assess the achievement of all

students K4-12.  Eagle Ridge Christian School's tests are administered in the spring and are graded by the American Psychological Corporation, which collates each student's grades with national norms.  Each student's test results are made a part of the student's permanent record.  In the past, nearly all Eagle Ridge students have scored above the national norm for their age groups and grade levels.

Classrooms:  At Eagle Ridge the elementary classrooms are placed in four multiple grade areas with four teachers.  Six teachers service the junior high and high school, providing the specialized classes needed for a sound academic education.

Student Enrollment:  Enrollment for the 1998-1999 school year will begin March 2, 1998.  If you wish to enroll your child for this year or would like to schedule an appointment for an interview with Janice Margrabe please contact our school office at (573) 339-1335.

Physical Education:  Physical education classes are offered for all students.  Our new facilities have a regulation high school gymnasium which enables us to offer an extensive physical education program at all grade levels.

Eagle Ridge classrooms are staffed by state certified teachers.

The low student to teacher ratio at Eagle Ridge allows a student to receive more individualized attention.  This ratio allows the school to develop an intense and productive academic environment.
