The following is a list of plants that are safe around birds. They can be ingested and/or played with or on by hookbills.(*Note: Nothing is safe is pesticides and/or toxic chemicals have been sprayed on or around the plants. Before using in cages or aviaries, scrub branches with a non-toxic disinfectant, such as diluted chlorine bleach, rinse well and allow to dry.)
