Jon McGhee wanted a story from my SIU days: One of my best memories of SIU was when my pledge class (I had joined Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity) went on skipout to Murray State University in Tennesee. Skipout is a required part of pledging where you visit another chapter of your national frat.
The other pic is to explain to all who are wondering how we got rid of all that beer.
That's a vaccuum hose attached to a plastic planter that ran under the door of the trailer. We made it down to Murray on a Saturaday in about 3 hours, played in a softball tournament, partied and made it back in time for class the next Monday.

There was 20 in my pledge class, plus about 20 more from the house, who piled in a livestock trailer with 2 kegs of beer, munchies, and various other forms of adult beverages and headed down to Murray State. We had covered the sides of the trailer with insulation so no one could see inside. We also had 2 chase cars to run interference in case any troopers decided to see why a livestock trailer had its sides all covered up. The first picture is of me and my pledge father inside the trailer.
