Hi Classmates! Just a little paragraph to let you all know what I am doing these days (Per Chris if I didn't tell you he would make something up for me...and it wasn't going to be pretty).
I am married to Chris Pond and we have 3 kids, Sarah who is a Freshman at Peoria Heights High School, Jen who is in 5th grade and Dylan who is in pre-school. I work full time at Commercial Mechanical, Inc.(CMI) in Dunlap as the office manager.
I spend a lot of time at Owens Center being manager and cheering for my son and middle daughter's hockey teams. Jen has been playing hockey for 8 years and kicks butt! My little tom-boy...won't play on a girls team. This is Dylan's 2nd year of hockey and I imagine we will have many more years of watching youth hockey freezing our butts on metal bleachers. My oldest daughter is more the "rah-rah" type, jr. high cheerleader, high school pom poms, girls basketball, ect.
As you can see I spend most of my time just being a mom. However, I think it may be time to dabble in politics...I just filed my petitions to run for the Peoria Heights School Board. The election is in April...wish me luck!
