Matt Dutton's site is still under construction, however, although he is still disturbed, he has asked to relay one item to everyone:
Most disturbing memory from IVC:
Although I have had a few embarassing moments over the past 15 years, I still won't be able to top the embarassement felt one weird afternoon from one of my closest friends -- whose name I shall take to my grave (Todd Trueblood).
It was a crisp Saturday afternoon in September of our Senior year. The autum leaves drifted to the ground as I pulled my car into stately Trueblood Manor. Being the great friend that I am, I walked directly into the living room. To my utter amazement (and disgust), there was Todd... dancing to the Village People, wearing nothing but an athletic supporter and a hard hat. I was shocked. I had never seen that side of Todd (and hope I never do again). Todd tried to get me to come with him to a "private party" up near Bradley. He told me that he could bring a buddy, and that it would be a lot of fun. After considering Todd's offer, I decided to pass (I was scheduled to do a reading at 7am Mass the next morning) I suggested Mike Vaughn.
To this day, Todd and I have never discussed that fateful afternoon.
