As the Christmas season approaches, my children run for cover as MOM gets out those movies again. I love 'It's A Wonderful Life', 'Scrooge', with Alistar Sim, 'White Christmas'. Of the new 'CLASSICS', I really like 'A Christmas Story', 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation', and 'The Santa Claus'. My daughter, Kayla, age 6, and I watch 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and enjoy hot chocolate and homemade cookies.
She also enjoys helping me set up my Christmas Village. Every year we try to add something new to it. This year I hope to add the Crachit House, from the Dickens collection, complete with smoking chimney. My village consists of an animal village, the poor part of town and , of course, the upper class section of town. I have a tape that plays village sounds (the speakers look like snow banks) I hope to add the snow machine soon. It hangs over the village and makes it appear to be snowing over your village. Everyone says that I will need an addition to the house just for my Christmas things.
