Willard Gilbert was born on June 11,1918 in New Boston Illinois. he Married Gladys Marie Gray on November 18, 1943. Willard served
in the navy during WWII being at Pearl Harbor During the Attack By Japan. Later Losing his leg during a Kamakazie attack on the island of Ie Shima of the coast of Iwo Jima. There were three children born to Willard and Gladys and a forth child was brought to the family by a previous marraige of Gladys.
Gladys Gilbert Died on November 14, 1989 and Willard Gilbert celebrated his 80th Birthday in 1998.
