Buescher Helicon Photos
These are photos taken on 4 Jul 2001 of a Buescher helicon, serial # 50755 (made in 1919), that is owned by the Vergennes (Vermont) City Band. I am shown in two of the pictures holding the horn in playing position. Note that the non-original leadpipe puts the mouthpiece far from where it should be. Am I holding it correctly? It seems like it should rest on my shoulder and the mouthpiece should then be positioned at my mouth Also note that at least two of the valve caps are not original.
