Buried on Lot #V-182 of the Camp Hill Cemetery, Camp Hill, Cumberland Co, PA Athens Co, Ohio 1850 census lists age, State where born, brother and parents Cambria Co, PA 1860 census lists age, state where born and siblings

Civil War pension records #214.137. and widows claim #851.816. list marriage date, place and by whom married (Rev. B. F. Beck). These records also list date of death and place. According to these records, Albert suffered from a bad cold while in the service and developed catarrh of the head that left him partially deaf and permanently disabled.

Certificate # 460 830 lists 6 children of Albert and Annie living 29 Jun 1898.

Albert Edward Richmond served in the War of the Rebellion, having enlisted 4 Sep 1862, as a private in Co. D 123rd Regiment, Penna.
State Volunteers amd was discharged therefrom as a private on 18 May, 1863. He re-enlisted again on 18 Jul 1864 and was discharged again 24 Jul 1865, having served in all a total of 20 months. He bore several wounds received in action and was pensioned as a disabled veteran. The wounds received in action were a factor in causing his death, having suffered for many years from their effect. Part of his life he lived on the Richmond homestead in Perry Co., PA but was principally known in Cumberland Co. where is is buried in Camp Hill Cemetery. During his civilian life he worked as a cabinet maker and was associated with Daniel Drawbaugh in the early development of the telephone,, which later litigation decided in favor of Alexander Graham Bell.

Albert is buried in section 5 #182 (Kauffman) at the Camp Hill Cemetery, 21st St., Camp Hill, PA.

Death certificate shows born 11 Sep 1846 Butler Co, PA. Father S. S Richmond, mother Louisa J Snow. Both born in Butler Co. PA. He died 12 Jun 1906 and buried 14 Jun 1906 in Camp Hill Cemetery. He probably lived in Marysville at time of death since his wife (who provided information for death certificate) listed her address as Marysville.
