Welcome to the Tregillgas (Tregilgas) Family in Australia Home Page.
This surname emanates from Cornwall, England. My fifth cousin, Loraine Bessant, has done extensive family research and has traced our origins back to John Tregilgas who was born in St Ewe, Cornwall, in 1480. My name is Ted Tregillgas. I live in Canberra, our national capital, and my interests are sport in general, walking, genealogy and reading.

This photograph was taken on 1 September 1923.  It shows my father, Edward George,  (second from left), my uncles (from left: Bert, Arthur, Bill and Jack) and my grandparents Jennie Frances and Thomas Henry.  It was taken on my Uncle Jack's wedding day.
