Notes:
ONE OF THE N. KOREA’S BIGGEST PROBLEMS IS ITS CURRENT FOOD CRISIS. N.K. IS VERY MOUNTAINOUS LEAVING ONLY ABOUT 20% OF THE LAND AVAILABLE FOR CULTIVATION, AND MOST OF THIS IF FLOODED OUT DURING THE RAINY SUMMER FLOOD SEASON.
THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS REPORTS OF CHILDREN LITERALLY DYING OF STARVATION IN THE STREETS.
THEIR NOT ONLY SHORT ON FOOD, BUT ON MONEY AS WELL. THE MONEY AND FOOD THAT THEY DO HAVE IS GIVEN FIRST PRIORITY TO THE MILITARY ANYWAY WHICH LEAVES A LACK OF SUPPLIES AND MATERIAL AVAILABLE TO THE REST OF THE COUNTRY.
