Annual Retreat Conference:
The Annual PFMC RETREAT CONFERENCE for 2001 will be held on the last weekend in February, Friday (23) through Sunday (25) with an extension for a Fourth New Jersey Seminar and Workshop on the "Healing Gifts of the Holy Spirit" by Father Robert DeGrandis, SSJ, from Monday (26) through Ash Wednesday (28).
The principal speaker for 2001 will be Father John H. Hampsch, C.M.F., with Father Bill McCarthy, M.Ss.A., and Father Robert DeGrandis, S.S.J. returning as featured speakers. Dr. Junie and Mrs. Sarah Irizari, International Catholic Lay Evangelists, will be featured at 7:30 PM on Saturday night leading into another fantastic concert by Father Michael Semana.
The planned schedule is in the 2001 RETREAT CONFERENCE and 3 DAY EXTENSION Booklet which will be given to each attendee. The Youth Tracks schedules are also in this booklet. There will be separate talks for two levels of YOUTH TRACKS, ages 7-12 and 13-17, from local teens and young adults as well as speakers from the main program for adults. There is a schedule for the 7-12 year old Youth Track and another schedule for the 13-17 year old Youth Track. Late breaking news is that Marty Rotella, Lorraine Doan and Regina Brown are scheduled to be participating in the Youth Tracks.
The theme for 2001 is "If I but touch His clothes, I shall be cured." (Mark 5:28 [NAB])
Father Hampsch will speak on "Healing the Family Tree" which is the title of one of his books.
The music for the weekend will be provided by REFUGE and VOYAGE while the music for the extension will be provided by Al Barbarino with assistance from Geraldine McSorley. Marty Rotella has promised to assist Father Michael Semana with the music for the YOUTH TRACK.
The location will again be the Assembly Ballroom of the Four Points Hotel, NJ 70 and I-295, Cherry Hill, NJ. The hotel room reservations are rapidly being taken via 1-800-325-3535 or 856-428-2300. Arrangements are being made with other local hotels such as the Holiday Inn, NJ 70 and Sayer Avenue, Cherry Hill, NJ, to match the advertized room rates. This location is across from the Garden State Race Track between NJ 38 and Interstate 295 (I-295) Exit 34. Please make room and conference reservations in advance if at all possible.
Please make a copy of the registration form portion of the information sheet, fill it out and return it to the PFMC by "snail" mail as soon as possible. We have experienced long lines of walk-ins at the hotel in past years and would like to have as many as possible receive pre-registration packets at the door.
