The Annual PFMC RETREAT CONFERENCE for 2003 will be held on the third weekend in March, Friday (14) through Sunday (16) with an extension for a Seminar and Workshop on the "Healing of Memories" by Father Robert DeGrandis, SSJ, and his sister, Dorothea DeGrandis Sudol from Monday (17) through Wednesday (19). An information packet with registration forms is available on-line as are the planned schedules .
Please make a copy of the registration form portion of the information sheet, fill it out and return it to the PFMC by "snail" mail as soon as possible.
Within two weeks of the above dates it is advisable to send the form by FAX to (856) 768-9428. We have experienced long lines of walk-ins at the hotel in past years and would like to have as many as possible receive pre-registration packets at the door. The principal speaker duties for 2003 will be shared between Father Bill Halbing, Father Andrew Apostoli, CFR, and Father Robert DeGrandis, S.S.J.. Saturday night will feature Joseph Terelya and his interpreter Roman Chrucky as well as another fantastic concert by Father Michael Semana.
The theme for 2003 is "He must increase; I must decrease." (John 3:30 [NAB])
The music for the weekend will be provided by REFUGE, VOYAGE, Al Barbarino, and Father Michael Semana, while the music for the extension will be provided by Hearts Afire a youth ministry with professional musician support led by Carl and Martie Granieri.
Hearts Afire as well as Carl and Marti Granieri will have an active part in the music for the Youth Track along with Father Michael Semana and Marty Rotella.
The Hilton Hotel may be reached using New Jersey Transit (NJT) 406 bus which runs along Old Marlton Pike (NJ 70) or the NJT train from Philadelphia to Atlantic City or vice versa which stops at the Cherry Hill Train Station.
The NJT train to / from Atlantic City runs from / to the Amtrak 30th Street Train Station and stops at the Cherry Hill Train Station. This station is behind a new shopping center, The Pavillions at Cherry Hill, which contains a Home Depot on the former grounds of the Cherry Hill Race Track opposite both hotels. Taxis and shuttle vans run from the station to the hotels.
The NJT #406 bus runs from the downtown Philadelphia bus station across the Ben Franklin Bridge and east on NJ 70 or Old Marlton Pike and stops at both hotels. This route has regular service to Marlton, NJ with extensions to Berlin, NJ, Medford, NJ and Mount Laurel, NJ. Call for a copy of the map and schedule if bus transportation fits your needs.
