I call this one simply 'Morning Glory'. I attended
the Quilt Design seminar in McMinnville Oregon this past summer and took a class from Jane
Sassaman. This is my own design using some of Jane's design elements and lots of her
techniques. It was a fun class. Click on the picture for a bigger image. (machine
appliqued, machine quilted) |

Well, I thought I was done with Stack-n-Whack quilts for
a while but they are fun and easy and result in neat looking quilts. I had to make a
baby quilt in short time period so I found this fabric with all sorts of food and kitchen
related motifs on it and made this. The border is actually lots of squares made from
stack-n-whack triangles. (machine pieced, machine quilted) |

This is a flannel quilt that my mother and I made for
grandson/nephew Tony. The pattern is 'Sticks & Stones'. It is a good pattern for
flannels, no bias to work with. (machine pieced/machine quilted) |
