2/2002 This is Jan's quilt. The fabrics have a real
oriental/tropical look so I decided to quilt the center of the quilt with a Hawaiian
inspired design, Yellow Ginger. The border is quilted with swirls inspired by a fabric in
the quilt

2/2002 This is Carol's christmas quilt (part of it anyway. She
wanted a holly motif in the block and christmas presents in the border. Actually my
favorite part of the quilt is the small continuous line holly leaves in the small border
at the bottom of the second pic.

1-2002 This is a quilt I made for a Beginning Patchwork class I
teach. I modified a block design to work somewhat like a panto for the quilting.
I also teach S-n-W butterflies. I outlined the butterflies, quilted
loops between them for movement and added antennae.
And I teach S-n-W fans as well. The fans are outlined then I quilted
ribbon meander between the fans.
I actually teach SnW Butterflies at two shops and this is the second
sample.
I do some longarm quilting for others. Here is Jill's red-white-blue
quilt. I manipulated a traditional block design so it could be quilted similar to a
panto. I like the results.
There is no closeup for this one right now but it was an interesting quilt
to work on. Ann used vintage fabric to create a quilt that really does look old,
except for the machine quilting that is.
