Alvin Munsell's Will and Estate Inventory

I Alvan Munsell of the county of Logan in the state of Ohio do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following ---- that is to say, Of the plantation where I now reside containing two hundred and thirty acres, in the first place I give and devise to my eldest son Daniel Munsell that portion of my lot which lies East of the N. and S. road as now established there being sixty acres more or less and to his heirs and assigns forever. Of that part west of said road my brother Trajan Munsell is to have a deed for the fifty acres covered by his title bond when paid for. Of the above named lot that remains and also the 160 acres in Lucas County Ohio, my personal property etc. to be disposed of as follows -- Viz. First - It is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid. Second I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Munsell one third of what remains and the other two thirds to be used for the support of the children until they arrive at age when it is to be equally divided among them with the exception of the one above named. And lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my wife said Mary Munsell and my said son Daniel Munsell and Moses Emerson to be executors for this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all former wills made by me and ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth day of July in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and forty five.
