      Some important spring dates to remember for those of you who use the traditional Jewish Calendar. (All days begin the evening before at sunset.)

Passover (Pesach):
            14 Aviv
            (Friday, April 10)

Days of Unleavened Bread (Chag HaMazot):
            15 Aviv - 21 Aviv
            (Saturday, April 11 -
            Friday, April 17)

Omer Wave Offering Day:
            16 Aviv
            (Sunday, April 12)

Pentecost (Shavu’ot):
            6 Sivan
            (Sunday, May 31)

~ Internet Site ~

      A friend of ours just sent us some information on a Christian Internet site that originates in Jerusalem. It is being run by a newspaper called; The Jerusalem Christian Review. Their reports are said to be well documented with pictures and involve the participation of world famous Bible scholars in Jerusalem. Some of the discoveries they are said to have covered include:

• A first century Jerusalem tomb with an inscribed dedication to "Jesus, who ascended," dating from before the New Testament was written.
• The recently found palace of King David.
• A burial cave in Nazareth with the personal testimonials of the very first Christians of Galilee.

      Apparently not all of these discoveries are recent. However, it looks like an interesting site for those who are hooked into the Internet. The address is: http://Jerusalem.edu (Please note the ending is ".edu").
