RVCC Play: "Weird Romance"
April, 2002, Jeff played a scientist in the first act who invents a robotic woman. She will become a celebrity who will name-drop products since in this futuristic world advertising is illegal. Jeff plays various other roles in the second act. He sings severl songs in this musical.
RVCC Play: Kurt Vonnegut's "Welcome to the Monkey House"
November, 2001, Jeff played Newt, the director of a Community Theater Group and the main role in the play - much like the stage manger in Our Town, he connects 4 separate plays within the play by explaining what's going on to the audience.
RVCC Play: Dark of the Moon
November, 2000, Jeff had a small role in "Dark of the Moon".
RVCC Play: Stalag 17
March, 2000, Jeff played Corporal Shultz in "Stalag 17". He did a good job with his German accent.
RVCC Play: Our Town
In November, 1999, Jeff was Editor Webb in "Our Town", the Pulitzer Prize winning play by Thorton Wilder. The locale is a small town in New Hampshire in the early 1900's. Jeff is the father of Emily Webb, who during the play, marries her neighbor. The last of the three Acts is in a cemetery where Emily is being laid to rest after giving birth to her second child. The play is imaginatively done with little scenery. The last act has people we'd met earlier sitting in rows of chairs representing their graves. As you can see the cast was large.

RVCC Play: Tom Jones
In November, 1998, Jeff was part of the cast of "Tom Jones", a play directly based on the movie of the same name starring Albert Finney as Tom. The movie was based on the classic novel by Henry Fielding. Jeff played Squire Western, the father of Sophia, who Tom loved, but could not marry because of his lowly status (a bastard). In the end it is discovered that he is of nobel birth and does marry Sophia, providing a happy ending.
