Meg Ice Climbing

In January, 2000, Meg went climbing with some friends. Here is exerpts from and email written by Ray. A photo of the climb follows: I(Ray) ice climbed this weekend in NH with John McCurdy and Meg.....The reports late in the week stated that conditions were a little thin but getting better, and certainly climbable. We climbed Sat at Frankenstein and it was a mobscene!.....On Sun, we went to the Flume gorge in Franconia Notch. Conditions were actually pretty good there......We all shared ropes and had a blast! There was everything from moderate curtains to free hanging icicles to desperate mixed climbing. Everyone found something to their liking. There is one picture of Meg on a pillar......Sorry if the quality isn't that good......it was my first time with a digital camera. As far as John and Meg goes.......make sure to congraulate them on their climbing! There has been great improvement since last year.

Meg has taken up rock climbing. This winter (98/99) she tried ice climbing and "totally loves it".
