These kids are standing on the top of the cliff. You can see part of the Neuse River in the background, below the cliff. This state park offers lake swimming, fishing, birdwatching, hiking, and family camping. It always amazes me that wherever you go or live, there are always little places, like this, tucked out of the way, that offer pleasant, scenic, and conveniently located outdoor recreation.
