I'm a huge movie fan. I enjoy all types of movies. I like dancing, working out (3 times/week), hanging out with my honey and friends, traveling around the country and go on hiking trips. I also enjoy photography, especially when I get to be infront of the camera. I collect stamps, movie posters & coins. I like to read magazines that are about movies, fashion and health.

Favorite Colors: Blue, red & beige.
Favorite Foods: Pizza, fajitas & Chinese.
Favorite Sports: Volleyball, swimming, hiking, snowboarding.

Poetry has been a part of my life, off and on, since Fall of 1991. I have always loved poetry and still am. Those that are about love, life and wisdom, I love the most. One of my first poems came to me in October 1991 when I was working as a Legal Assistant for a law firm. This particular poem means alot to me. It talks about what I was going through and in a way it represents a process of coming out to myself and understanding myself better. It is a simple poem but at the same time a very special piece of information coming from my heart and it’s called SPECIAL GIFT.

SPECIAL GIFT

Ever since I was a child. Never once considered wild.
Often wondered “why I’m different?” and sometimes I seemed distant.

In high school I realized something. That I, a special kind of human being.
A gift to dream, to sing and to act. And then I learned that it is a fact.

I now have grown strong, healthy and wise. I know the difference of naughty and nice.
Though I still feel that that’s not all. Somthing invades me, pulls me until I fall.

I now have accepted that Special Gift. That I, to perform, to love and to live.
Despite the hardships that may lay upon me. With God’s love and guidance I will be free.

The following poem I wrote in Spring 1992 is a very powerful one. I really love it and I hope you will too. Read and you will know what I mean.

MOVING ON

Day by day as I learn and grow.
Moving On is all I need to know.
From here I will go as far as eternity
With me I will bring love and honesty.
To the people I’m going to meet and get to know
Selfishness is what they will outgrow.
Though one thing is left to be concerned
That Moving On strong is ought to be learned.

Many people in the world say they cannot cope
That just live through it is their only hope.
I myself have had painful memories
But my life was Moving On like beautiful melodies.
Move on! I say let’s keep Moving On
Whether it’s a rainy dusk or a lonely dawn.
Happy thoughts will sure get you through
No matter the cause the real importance is you.
