Based on a Marvel comic, Blade is about a half human/half vampire who is a vampire hunter. His mother is bitten by a vampire when she is pregnant with him, and by the time he is born she has died. Now possessing all of a vampire's strengths but none of its weaknesses, she sets out to avenge his mother's death by killing the vampire responsible.
