At first the basic plot of Fallen sounds all too familar - a serial killer's spirit passes from person to person. A variation of this theme has been used in films like The Hidden, Shocker, and Jason Goes To Hell - The Final Friday. But Fallen manages to be better than all those films. It has a few special twists that make a big difference in how the story plays out. More than a high body count bloodfest, this film plays with the mind more than delivering sudden jolts.

This film has a beautiful look to it. The cameras sweep and the cinematography has a great bleak autumn look to it. The ending is a love it/hate it type thing, based on the aidience's reactions (I loved it). For those horror buffs who aren't big fans of the Scream type slasher flicks and are growing tired of all the creature/alien films out there, this thinking man's horror film may be for you.
