Sphere

Sphere is a sci-fi thriller where the characters take center stage. The story of a spaceship crashed under the sea really takes a back seat to the interplay between stars Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone, and Samuel L. Jackson. The story is well-written and thought out, but the film is painfully short on action and there is very little suspense or shocks. A good story, but not very scary.
