Has it only been a week? Feels like we've been shooting for at least a month.
Today is the first day most of the crew met Julie. Things are really beginning to fall into place. I'm extremely happy with the way we worked today. Jeff made some increbily nice moods with the phone scenes. Shooting inside seems so much easier for some reason. Guess everything is more controlled and you don't have the sun beating down on you all the time.
Shot Sheila's scenes in record time. She's such a mom, her two scenes are so believable it's not funny. And she and Katy have a good resemblance. I'm very happy with my pick for this role.
I loved Julie in scene 44. And you can tell the crew was excited about it, too. I wonder how many of them have actually read the script. It would be difficult to tell what was going on otherwise, we're shooting so out of sequence.
Didn't get to Pacifica for Carol's drive by the beach (Scene 33), but we did get to UC campus to film the Great America scene. Finished close to 5 or so.
Today was a good day.
